One of the great benefits of IABC Victoria membership is the access you have to a world of knowledge. Here’s some of the highlights for the coming few weeks.

Communication World

The latest edition of the monthly CW is out and it’s available both online and in hard copy. This month’s CW will feed your brain on topics like:

  • The tools and techniques that will help you build collaboration in your organisation
  • The ability to communicate benefits – possibly the single most important business writing skill
  • How technology is contributing to employee wellness initiatives
  • How a video series brought a financial services company’s brand promise to life

And that’s just the start. Check out CW today.

There’s some great free and paid webinars coming up over the next few weeks. Admittedly, listening to these live is going to require a very late night (or early morning) but all will be available for replay.

22 October: Collaboration Success: Driving and measuring business value with enterprise social by Rav Dhaliwal, who is Yammer’s Director of Customer Success Management for U.K., France & Germany (free to members)

1 November: Of course, don’t forget our own free to members webinar. Mark Schumann, the former IABC International Chair will be talking about How to build your communications career. Click here for more info.

7 November: Globalise your CEO’s communication skills by Barbara Gibson, the Principal of Cultural Resolution UK (free to members)

19 November – 17 December: Lynda McDaniel, who is the Write with Confidence Coach for The Book Catalyst is presenting a five week online program on Business writing for success (fee required).

How do I access the webinars?

Too easy, although you'll need your IABC member number and password to do it.

For the US events, simply go to the webinar page at From there, you'll be asked to enter your member number and password. Once you've done that, you'll have access to all the details and facilities for booking.

For the Australian event on 1 November, click on the link provided above to obtain the webinar details.

We hope that's enough to keep you going. We'll be back with more food for your brain next month.
