Award of merit

IABC Victoria was recently awarded an Award of Merit at the IABC Chapter Management Awards for our work in diversity, equity and inclusion. Two years ago we put together the Hope and Glory Professional Development Grant program, an initiative that supports communication professionals, who may have cultural or social barriers to professional development, to be members of IABC and develop as communication leaders and contributors to IABC Victoria goals and outcomes.

This grant allowed us to support to communication professionals to be a member of the organisation, attend our events and access career coaching from Adrian Cropley.

We are excited to receive recognition for our work in this area. And congratulations to the IABC Vic Board 2020 for all your work in making this program a reality.

Thank you to Adrian Cropley and Matt Harrison from Hope and Glory for your support for the Professional Development Grant.

Award of Excellence
IABC Victoria was also recently awarded an Award of Excellence at the IABC Chapter Management Awards for the event program that we ran in 2020. Led by Veronica Goluza, supported by Sia Papageorgiou and the rest of the IABC Victoria board, we faced the challenge of delivering engaging online events across the year to continue to provide value to our members.

We are excited to receive recognition for our work in this area. And congratulations to the IABC Vic Board 2020 for all your work in making this program a reality.
