We’re seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Board, supporting our Events portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the profession and gain valuable experience on a leadership board.

Role description

As Events Co-Chair, you will collaborate with fellow Board members to advance our purpose and contribute your expertise to key decision-making processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

●        Developing and executing the annual events calendar.

●        Planning and managing events from conception to completion.

●        Engaging with stakeholders and managing vendor relationships.

●        Ensuring events comply with best practices and budget constraints.

●        Providing reporting and recommendations for future.

Qualifications

●        A passion for advancing the field of communication and supporting your peers.

●        Ability to thrive in a collaborative, volunteer-driven environment.

●        Strong organisational skills and strategic thinking.

●        Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.

●        Willingness and ability to learn and adapt.

●        Experience in event management is a plus, but not required.
